GBB-gas blowback (pistols, smg's, rifles, shotguns)
-these are the most realistic guns. they literally blowback and give some recoil. they run on certain gases, such as green gas.
EBB-electric blowback (pistols)
-these are pistols that run on Double A batteries and arent powerful at all.
AEG-automatic electric gun (smg's, rifles, assault rifles)
-these are the most common guns on the airsoft battlefield and there are many choices. ranging from mp5's to thompson m1a1's to ak47's. they run on fairly large SONY batteries.
SPRING-ummm sucky
-these guns use a single shot method where you cock once to shoot once. NOT POWERFUL
